  1. desactivate the FAN in the BIOS menu
    • Deactivate in the BIOS: Fan Always on while on AC Power
  2. desactivate acpi for the ATI card
    • System > Administration > Hardware Drivers > ATI/AMD propietary FGLRX graphic driver: Install but don’t reboot now !!!
    • In a terminal: sudo aticonfig –initial
    • In a terminal: sudo aticonfig –acpi-services=off
    • Now you may reboot, in the terminal: sudo reboot
